Dev Anand The Evergreen Hero of Indian Cinema

Dev Anand the evergreen hero of Indian Cinema was born on 26th September 1923. He died in 2011 at the age of 88. Even at this ripe age he had inexhaustible energy and Aura of a young person.

Dharam Devdutt Pishorimal Anand was his full name, but he was better known as Dev Anand.

Dev Anand an Indian film actor was also a writer, director and producer.

His Success and Failure in terms of his Stars

Dev Anand made his debut in Indian cinema with ‘Hum Ek Hain’ in 1946. At that time he was running the sub-period of Sun in the main period of Venus. As per his chart Venus is his lord of luck, but it is debilitated in the ascendant and the Sun is the lord of the 12th viz. the house of loss. His debut film ‘Hum Ek Hain’ therefore flopped at the Box Office.

He had a massive heart attack in his room number 207 at the Washington Hotel in London on the night of 3rd December 2011.

His room number 207=2+7=9 and the number 9 as per numerology is ruled by Mars which as per his birth chart happens to be the lord of his house of death.

He died during the sub-period of Venus in the main period of Jupiter. As per his birth chart both these planets being lords of the 2nd and 7th houses respectively are death inflicting planets (Marak Grehas).
