Karisma Kapoor, often informally known as ‘Lolo’ is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films. She is the daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita and was born on 25th June 1974.
She got her nick name ‘Lolo’ from the name of a Hollywood actress Gina Lollobrigida. The name ‘Lolo’ selected by her Sindhi mother Babita conveys sweetness due to a Sindhi cuisine called ‘Mitho Lolo’ a sweet flat-bread made from wheat flour, ghee, cardamom and sugar.
