Capricorn Horoscope Monthly February 2020
The month of February starts with the Sun in the frugal sign of Aquarius, your 2nd house of personal earnings, values and possessions. Sea-Goats will be keen to get money matters into order, set goals and budget for the next twelve months. There may be ways you can increase your ability to earn extra cash or just make adjustments to your current expenditure to help keep down those bills. Throw around a few ideas and set up a spreadsheet, as you are likely to be surprised as to what you can save by cutting back on certain expenses. You’ll also have a real sense of values, and what was once important to you may no longer apply. You don’t have to keep up with the Jones’s to be happy with your possessions.
Divine Mercury, planet of Communication, remains in Aquarius then moves into Pisces on the 3rd, your 3rd house of communication. Over the coming weeks you will have plenty to say and think about with a multitude of tasks in the course of your daily routine. You’ll be keen to express your thoughts and ideas, expand your mind with short studies, and chatter on the phone. You’ll love variety, travelling more than usual and having stimulating conversations with friends, siblings and relatives. More involvement in local neighbourhood activities is in the frame. Make sure that you diarise appointments and make a note of important discussions.
On the 17th, Mercury turns retrograde in your 3rd house. Don’t be surprised if you experience computer and phone breakdowns, or transport and motor vehicle hassles. Misunderstandings, including sending and receiving misconstrued messages are typical. It may give some Goats the chance to do a bit of clearing, sort through old correspondence and do a bit of a catch up on phone calls. Venus will enhance your charm and expression during this phase, influencing talks, peace offerings and resolutions with friends and within relationships. Mercury then slips back into your 2nd house on March 4th, before returning to direct motion on March 10th. Finalise outstanding negotiations on money matters and check over your list of priorities. The Messenger re-enters Pisces on March 16th but will remain in a shadow phase until March 30th.
The 9th sees the Full Moon, at 7:34 GMT and 20:00 degrees of Leo your 8th house of sex, death and taxes. This month it is called the Full Snow Moon as the heaviest snowfalls are usually in February in the northern hemisphere. Hunting becomes extremely difficult, so some Native American tribes have called it the Hunger Moon, or Bone Moon because there was so little food that people gnawed on bones and ate bone marrow soup.
This month’s Full Moon will have you probing deeper into finance concerns, joint resources, corporate affairs, investments, taxes, legacies and benefits. Emotions will be charged with a tendency to be possessive about joint ownership while you sort out your financial obligations and responsibilities. You might find yourself spending more than anticipated, especially on the home and with family members. Close relationships are likely to be intense and passionate. Your psychic perception will sharper with interests in life after death and occult mysteries.
Goddess Venus remains in persuasive Pisces, your 3rd house of communication, local affairs, siblings, transport and creative writing. Carrying over from last month, use your charm and you should have no trouble gaining favours. Pleasant relations with neighbours and other locals are indicated. If there has been trouble with them in the past this is a good time to improve the situation. You may also have a greater urge to increase contacts or improve relationships with brothers, sisters, cousins, and in-laws. You may visit or contact nieces or nephews away at college. However, some of your best social opportunities now are right in your immediate environment.
Then on the 13th, loving Venus floats into Aries your 4th house of home and family. This marks a superb time to redecorate around the home, and for inspiring your inner self by being creative. It’s the right time to beautify your surrounds, add some new furniture, or redo a room. Relationships with family members will be more harmonious and pleasant, making it easier to resolve differences. It is favourable for real estate and family negotiations. Why not do some entertaining at home and invite close friends over?
Warrior Mars remains in Sagittarius, stimulating your 12th house of secrets, sorrows and subconscious motivations. As discussed last month, you need to confine those worries and fears by using your energy in a subtle way, rather than being a hothead. This however, could create frustration and self-denial, producing feelings that are rather hard to deal with. You probably won’t want to talk about your deepest feelings and concerns, but secrets may come out into the open, which need to be faced. Working on your own in seclusion could alleviate some of your tension. This will be a good time to get involved in research and any behind-the-scenes activity. Working with charitable organisations, prisons and hospitals, or donating your time to help others less needy is favoured by this planetary energy. You may even face some sort of surgery and require hospitalization.
On the 16th, Mars rolls into Capricorn, your 1st house of personality. Mars exalted in your sign can make you an emotional powerhouse. Try to maintain a positive attitude and a good mood; if you get angry, you’re likely to overreact and say things you’ll regret later. Use this energy through positive outlets like exercise, sports, crafts, and other personal hobbies will help you focus on your aims, short and long term. If you experience an accident or illness during this phase, it is likely to involve your head or face. Be careful when handling sharp objects and hot or explosive materials. Mars will join the stellium of heavy planets in your 1st house, namely Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto which could create big demands and frustrations during March. More on this next month.
On the 19th, the Sun moves into sentimental Pisces, your 3rd house of communication. During the next four weeks, your daily activities will increase, particularly with telephone calls, paying visits, travelling and an array of things to do. Catching up on local news, chatting with neighbours, siblings and other relatives will be on the agenda. Reading a good book, a child’s education and varying your routine will be on the agenda. Make sure you are clear and concise, and listen to what others have to say, thanks to Mercury retrograde.
The 23rd sees the New Moon in Pisces, your 3rd house. In line with the above, the next two weeks will open lines of communication by developing new thought patterns and avenues of self-expression. Opportunities for a fresh start are in the air, featuring an increase in mobility, making decisions, and being an interesting conversationalist. Pay attention to details, information and discussions. You may take up a new line of study, a course or a new language. Your daily routine will be hectic, what with running errands, short trips, and catching up on news. More involvement with neighbours, siblings and other family members is in the frame.
