Capricorn Horoscope Monthly March 2020

At The Local

Sea-Goats start the month of March with the Sun in charming Pisces, your 3rd house of communication. You’ll be particularly energized, wanting to express ideas on various topics and keeping up with your daily activities. Get in contact with important people in your life, chat with the neighbours, relatives or visit friends. Short trips are on the agenda, the possibility of taking up a short education course, or just taking time out and reading the latest novel you fancy. There is the internet and mobile phone to keep you occupied, catching up on news, sending and receiving messages. Children may need your help with educational studies. With the Cosmic Messenger retrograde, your mind may not be as sharp as you would like it to be. From the 8th to the 10th at the time of the Full Moon, Neptune may play havoc with your thought processes and find that you are day-dreaming and unrealistic. However, your intuitive processes will be greater. Watch out for blind spots and foggy conditions if driving. The Lord of Karma, your life-ruler Saturn, moves into Aquarius on the 22nd, giving you a sense of lightening the load that you have been carrying the last few years. However, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto remain in your 1st house, bringing changes to your development physically and emotionally.

Goddess Venus remains in Aries, your 4th house of home and family. On the 5th, the Goddess makes her way into loving Taurus your 5th house of romance, creativity and speculation. An excellent time to have fun with loved ones, family, and close friends. Treat yourself by indulging in pleasure-seeking activities, taking up a recreational pastime, and going to places of entertainment. This is also a time to be social, attract romance into your life, and enjoy your time with children. A new love affair could be in the wind and existing relationships will benefit from the love that you are showing. Expose your creative flair, which can range from lapidary to wonderful art forms and paintings. So enjoy the social scene, you never know you may be lucky with speculations from the 7th to the 10th.

Mercury Retrograde

The Divine Messenger remains retrograde in Pisces, your 3rd house of communication at the start, retrograding into Aquarius, your 2nd house of money on the 4th. The next two weeks could see you filtering through accounting, bank statements and expenditure. Rehash negotiations and agreements on your income, budget and loans. Contact with financial institutions is likely. Then on the 10th Mercury turns direct before moving slowly on into Pisces on the 16th. Mercury will remain in a shadow phase until March 30th, so you are not out of the woods yet. There is still the potential of your line of communication going haywire or you have to pick up your computer, mobile phone or vehicle after repair work, that is if it has been fixed properly. Your mind may be a bit hazy remembering dates and times so make sure you don’t misconstrue messages. Check your emails and make sure you have not missed any deadlines or appointments, and are still in favour with neighbours and siblings. Mercury then moves into Aries on April 11th, your 4th house of home and family. More on this next month.

The 9th sees the Full Moon at 7:34 GMT and 19:37 degrees of intellectual Virgo, your 9th house of the higher mind. It is known as the Full Worm Moon, as around the time of the Spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins and other birds. It is also called the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signals the end of winter in the northern hemisphere. It is the last Full Moon before the Equinox. The vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere marks the end of winter and the start of spring, while the autumnal equinox in the southern hemisphere marks the end of summer and the start of autumn.

This Full Moon will trigger your deeper emotions, sensitivity and response to others. You’ll be in the mood to daydream and find love attractions. Interested in expanding your mind and life in general? You’ll want to plant your feet firmly on the ground and develop your personality in some way. Your efficiency and analytical thinking could open doors in teaching, writing, publishing, advertising, foreign connections and the justice system. Step out of the square and the restrictions that have been holding you back; this may be the time you have been waiting for through travel, having an adventure or just sight-seeing. Transport issues may arise, as may muddled communications and indecisiveness. Ideals and personal beliefs are explored through education, philosophy, metaphysics and religion.

Warrior Mars remains in Capricorn, activating your 1st house of personality. Sea-Goats need to grin and bear it as Mars tramps over Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in your sign this month. As discussed last month, Mars is exalted in your sign which can make you an emotional powerhouse. Try to maintain a positive attitude and a good mood; if you get angry, you’re likely to overreact and say things you’ll regret later. Using this energy through positive outlets like exercise, sports, crafts, and other personal hobbies will help you focus on your aims, short and long term. If you experience an accident or illness during this phase, it is likely to involve your head or face. Be careful when handling sharp objects and hot or explosive materials.

From the 18th to April 2nd, you will be inclined to put your foot down and take control. Power struggles will be in play, fighting for your rights, and showing aggression. Intense ego energies will be creating conflicts. On the other hand, your energy levels are going to be high, and will give you the ability to improve yourself and your situation to enhance your life. Others may experience a certain degree of creativity and calmness, as it is not all bad. As Saturn moves out of your sign, you briefly undergo feelings of restrictions and frustrations. The 30th sees the Warrior move into Aquarius, your 2nd house of personal finances, values and possessions. Control your finances where possible, as the urge for impulsive spending will leave you broke even though it is a must-have item.

On the 20th, the Sun moves out of Pisces and into energetic Aries, your 4th house of home and family on the eve of the Equinox. Over the next four weeks you’ll spend more time attending to matters on the home front. These could be family relationships, maintenance, renovating or preparing the garden for change of seasons. Whatever it is you will value the time spent with family, comforts and feelings of security.

Saturn Enters Aquarius

Saturn, your life-ruler, enters Aquarius on the 22nd, your 2nd house of personal earnings, values and possessions. As Saturn moves through Aquarius, the coming months will be confronted with your values, priorities, and material assets leading the way in teaching you how to rearrange your money tree, be economical and thrifty. If you learn your lesson, Saturn will reward you well once this transit is over. It won’t just be about your earning capacity, but will include an emphasis on values, moral, psychological and spiritual. Financial progress may not easily reach your expectations, but you will learn how to budget and justify your expenditure. Don’t place too much emphasis on material possessions right now, because this could create unhappiness and insecurities. Responsible action will be needed and learning to not to live beyond your needs. If you have neglected relationships, you may be threatened with their loss. Saturn goes retrograde in Aquarius on May 5th before returning to Capricorn on July 1st moving back over the last five degrees, then goes direct on September 9th, and returning to Aquarius on December 19th.

The 24th sees a New Moon in Aries, your 4th house. The next four weeks will see you more involved in activities around the home, being with family and improving relationships. Traditional values will be important at this time; your unconscious drives, security, comforts and early childhood training are all in the frame. It may be an ideal time to catch up with an older relative, discuss your family tree and ancestry. You never know what you may uncover in the process. The family album is an ideal way to start a conversation going and remembering old times. If you are an outdoors type, there is the garden to attend to, plant next seasons vegetables weather permitting or do some pruning. Redecorating and renovating is also on the cards.
