Capricorn Horoscope Monthly May 2019
The Merry Sea-Goats will relish this time of year as the Sun blazes in sensual Taurus, your 5th house of romance, creativity and speculation. The main part of Merry May will excite your senses, releasing some those tensions by adding more fun and frivolity into your life. This can be in leisure activities, places of amusement, the theatre, having a game of cricket, basketball or spending time at the gym. Apart from this, romancing is not out of the question and you’re bound to attract love. This energy will add some spark to existing relationships, and committed Goats will enjoy good times with the love of their life. Don’t forget the kids, and take part in their activities.
For starters the 1st brings May Day, honouring the ancient goddess Maia. A special time of the year for those who take part in Beltane, the old Celtic name for May Day, it has traditionally been marked by bonfires, feasting, delicious cakes, dances and drummers. The New Moon in Taurus on the 4th highlights fun, romance and projects. The 6th sees Mercury speed into your 5th house giving you the mental agility for mind games and fun things to do. This is followed by Mercury entering your 6th house on the 21st. The Goddess Venus dances into Taurus on the 15th, enhancing romance. Macho Mars steams into Cancer, your 7th house on the 16th, steaming up relationships. This is then followed by the Full Moon on the 18th heating up friendships and socializing. Amidst all this, the Sun changes houses on the 21st, moving into your 6th house of work and health.
The 4th sees a New Moon at 14:11 degrees of Taurus, exciting your 5th house. The next two weeks may be just what the doctor ordered, turning your attention to creative avenues, light-hearted fun, laughter and entertainment. It’s the time for romance to enter your life. If you have a partner, pick up the threads of your existing relationship and show your love. Enjoy your time arranging social events like going to the movies, dinner, seeing a show or other activities that will bring a smile to your face and get you out and about. It’s a worthwhile time to spend with children and be part of their activities. It could be a fortunate time with speculation, but use your logic first before doing anything rash.
At the start Divine Mercury planet of Communication remains in energetic Aries, your 4th house, filtering ideas on the home front. On the 6th, the Cosmic Messenger shifts into Taurus, your 5th house, for a short stay. You’ll be full of inventive ideas at the start, playing around with technology, games and tasks to keep your mind busy. Use your creative imagination, but take more time to converse with loved ones and children. Take a trip or two to see a show, write a love note or something else that is inspiring. Reading and writing poetry may be a way of releasing some of that creativity.
The Goddess Venus also remains in Aries at the start. During the first half of May, your home will be your castle, a great time to get those redecorating thoughts underway. There’s the garden to consider with new flowery plants, and cleaning up the outdoor entertaining area. Perhaps an inviting meal or get-together with family and friends? It’s a good time to improve family relationships, and the home environment with knick-knacks so you feel cosy and secure. A local garage sale could have an item of value or an antique that you could do up.
The 7th to the 11th could add strain to the home environment, family, relationships, real estate, property and your personal needs. Work through any disappointments that may be encountered.
The 15th then sees the Goddess enter Taurus, your 5th house. Up until June 9th, life will have its delightful and pleasurable moments. What better time than to bring on love, enjoyment and socialising. The Goddess will stimulate your artistic urges, sensuality, charm and allure. You might even meet that special someone. You’ll feel more loving towards others while improving your relationships (including with children) and expanding your social network. A touch of luck may be on your side when it comes to speculation, but remember not to be too extravagant in your endeavours. Make it a happy and satisfying time for all.
Energetic Mars remains in intellectual Gemini, camping in your 6th house of work and health. The fiery Warrior has added more energy to your routine, working harder, longer hours, but stimulating the potential for arguments with work-mates and general disruptions. Learn some patience, rather than trying to beat the clock and make rush decisions. The downside will be suffering from cuts, abrasions, burns, or injuries to the head. Handle machinery and heavy objects more cautiously. There may be call for surgery, or blood disorders, fevers and headaches. From the 4th to the 7th, you may be busy and optimistic about a project you have on the backburner. Don’t overdo your physical health by taking on more than you can handle and overworking.
On the 16th, Mars enters sensitive Cancer, your 7th house of significant commitments. Until July 1st, try to tone down your irritations within relationships, business partnerships, unions and marriage. Indifferences, ego tantrums and impulsive actions are likely to arise. Legal settlements, agreements, contracts and settling disputes with open enemies could be in the firing line with resolutions harder to achieve. Pay attention to other people’s input, and make an effort to co-operate and see the other side of any argument. However, your passion will be greater but resist the urge to control everything.
The 18th sees your personal Full Moon at 27:39 of Scorpio, your 11th house of friends, hopes and wishes. The Buddhist world officially celebrates the Wesak (Vesak) Festival at this time, commemorating the birth, teachings, enlightenment and passing away of Lord Gautama, the Buddha, some 2,500 years ago. It is considered the most powerful Moon of the year, when great spiritual progress can be made.
This Full Moon will bring about conditions surrounding your friends, groups and associations. You might need the emotional support that they may offer through friendship and the helpful efforts of loved ones. It will also highlight your empathy, although with the strong effects of this Moon you might be prone to pick on negativity in others including your relationships. Some Goats may attract unexpected and exciting romance under this Moon, but be warned it could be short but sweet for singles. However, existing relationships could find this an exhilarating time to have fun and socialise. Look at ways to see yourself through problem areas in relationships, or a change in mindset could do you good. Probe into the deeper side of what you want in terms of future goals and dreams.
On the 21st, the Sun exits Taurus and enters Gemini, your 6th house of work and health. Mercury joins the Sun in your 6th house to focus on your work, health improvement and multipurpose functions. The key word will be flexibility, making decisions and enhancing your overall work performance. Your organisational capabilities will be called for dear Goats, taking control and achieving. In the process take care of your well-being, with plenty of nourishing food and exercise.
Use your mental energy to work through administration, getting ideas and plans under way to make your routine more efficient. Discuss initiatives, do some brainstorming and think of ways to increase good public relations. Have you kept your medical appointments up to date or are you due for that dental appointment? It’s also a time of potential nervous tension, so don’t let a multitude of paperwork get you down.
