The Eve of Republic Day


Republic day is celebrated as a national festival in India. It exists on 26th January every year and celebrated by the people of all casts.

January 26, 1950 is considered very important in the Indian history because the Constitution of India came in force on this day and India became a truly sovereign state.

People feel proud by remembering the sacrifice of patriots. People confer homage to them and celebrate this day with great enthusiasm and happiness.

The noticeable thing is that people of all castes perform this festival together with joy and pride. Every year, morning ferries are to be organized on this eve.

The main event that is parade of 26th January organizes with elegance in the Indian capital, Delhi. Numerous individuals come from different parts of the country to see the grace of this occasion.

Our security guards in the parade demonstrate its advanced military capabilities. The parade starts from Vijay Chawk and ends at Red Fort of Delhi after passing through Raj path and other several areas of Delhi. Before parade, Prime Minister pays tribute to the martyrs at ‘ Amar Jawan Jyoti ‘.

Apart from this, various states of India show their cultural life, customs, industrial and social changes. These things give a message of unity in diversity to the people.

Military band of different schools resonant the feeling of love towards nation. On the eve of Republic Day, President’s House, Parliament House and other government offices are lit in the evening.

The auspicious occasion of 26th January is still igniting the flame of national sentiment in the heart of every Indian. Undulate flag brings fervor and happiness in the heart of every individual.
