If you are completing in eight days then you must recite 8th and 9th Charitras on fifth day.

Recitation of Shri Ramcharitmanas

Worship in a same way as the fourth day thereafter recites the couplet, “Jo sumirat siddhi hoi gan nayak, kari bar badan?..” And after fourth rest recite till 236th couplet from Ayodhyakand.

Sarvapitra Shradh is performed on the Amavasya (new moon) of Ashwin Krishna. If Shradh has been missed on a specific day or if someone’s Shradh Tithi (death anniversary date) is unknown, the Shradh can be conducted on this day. In the evening, Poori (fried bread) and specific dishes like Kheer and Halwa are placed at the entrance of the home.

Role of Mars in Marriage – All the nine planets of Vedic Astrology viz. Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu play their roles in marriage in some way or the other, but in this article we are focusing on the role of Mars mainly because it is related to some important issues connected with marriage and married life such as in judging compatibility of partners, sexual act, passion, harmony, Time of Conception and Child-birth.

Believers of Vedic Astrology or Indian people in general, give importance to consideration of Manglik Yoga, which is also known as Manglik Dosha (defect due to Mars) or Kuja Dosha, at the time of fixing marriage alliance of their children.

In a birth chart prepared as per Vedic or Hindu Astrology the placement of natal Mars in 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house is believed to cause this Yoga or Dosha. Some include the 2nd house also.

Generally this Dosha is considered in the birth chart which is called the Ascendant Chart or Lagan Kundali as well as in the Moon Chart which is also called Chandra Kundali or Rashi Chart.

Since Venus is the significator of marriage, so I believe that one must consider this Dosha in the Venus Chart also in addition to the ascendant Chart and the Moon Chart. Venus Chart is formed if one considers the house where natal Venus is posited as the ascendant.

The order of importance should be as follows:

1. The Ascendant Chart
2. The Moon Chart
3. Venus Chart

Basil Plant (Tulsi):

A basil plant is easily available everywhere and it is an embodiment of the goddess of wealth (Lakshami).

Keep a potted basil plant in the middle part of house if it is uncovered or at the main entrance inside your premises. Keep the plant in healthy state by timely pruning and watering etc.

Rudraksha Bead:

It is believed to be originated from the tears of Lord Shiva hence considered very pious. Many type based on the number of visible lines on its surface are available. Some varieties such as the one with single line are very expensive. The one with five lines (Panchmukhi) is the cheapest so go for that. On a Monday or Thursday hold it in your hand and recite the mantra, “Om Namaha Shivaye” 108 times and then either wear it in a black thread around your neck or hang it in a white thread in the northwest corner of your bedroom.

Gomati Chakra:

It is a natural stone obtained from the Gomati River in India. Spread a piece of red colored silk or cotton cloth in your place of worship before an image or idol of Lakshami and place 11 Gomti Chakras on the red cloth. Everyday worship by applying spot of Saffron +Sandalwood paste on the chakras, also sit calmly and recite 108 times the mantra, “Om Shri Shriaye Namaha”

Ekakshi Coconut:

After peeling the outer covering normally on the hard skin of the coconut three markings are found. But on some only two markings representing a mouth and ‘a single eye’ (Ekakshi) is there this type is called Ekakshi Coconut.

Wrap it in a red cloth and place it in your place of worship and daily worship it by applying Sindoor (Red lead Oxide) and Kumkum.
