Plants Can Improve and Balance Indoor Chi Energy

‘Clean Air Study’ conducted by NASA in association with the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) affirms that some common indoor plants may provide a natural way of removing toxic agents.

The study conducted by NASA in association with the ALCA affirms that toxic agents such as benzene, formaldehyde and trichloroethylene are removed from the air by some indoor plants and thus help inimproving the health of a building.

In general scientific terms we know that plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen and in terms of FengShui principles plants absorb negative ‘chi’ and release positive ‘Chi’ energy. Thus they help in balancing the energy of an environment and thereby bring luck, wealth, and opportunity into your home.

Pots: Instead heavy concrete or earthen pots you may buy light weight plastic or fiberglass pots. Make sure there is at least one hole at the bottom for excess water drainage.

Potting Mixture: Instead of soil from a garden use potting soil from a gardening shop. Before filling the pot place a broken brick piece over the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot.

Watering: Right amount of water is very essential. Overwatering as well as lack of water can ruin your plants. Get to know from an expert about water needs of a particular plant.
