 Shri
S Ganesh is one of the most revered and
respected names in Vedic Astrology. Practising
this science for more than 25 years now,
Shri S Ganesh has been teaching Jyotish
at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan since 1994.
Brought up in a traditional South Indian
Hindu family, his father, Sri Sankara
Narayanan, was the secretary of the Madrasi
Vedic Brahmin Association. He has spiritual
roots that may be traced to the revered
Sringeri Mutt; His Holiness Jagadguru
Sri Sri Shanakaracharya is his guru.
Working in the co-operative sector in
Delhi, S Ganesh has a unique blend of tradition
and modernity. Suave, gentle, compassionate
and adept in all aspects of Jyotish he
has taught thousands of students over
the years that carry light of traditional
Vidya far and wide.
S Ganesh is to be credited for bringing out
many hitherto hidden traditional aspects
of Jyotish into the open. He has willingly
served the great purpose of preserving
the tradition that the world-renowned
astrologer, Shri K. N. Rao, urged him
to teach at the Bhawan.
S Ganesh is presently writing a book on Bhava
Analysis and has several highly-acclaimed
papers to his credit.
