The Celebration of Choti Diwali 2015

This year, Choti Diwali will be held on 10th November 2015 (Tuesday).

It falls on the fourteenth day of Kartik Krishna Paksha. Narak Chaturdashi and Roop Chaturdashi are also performed on the same day. On this auspicious day, you should wake up early in the morning and should do the facial with the paste made up of gram flour, wheat flour, turmeric and oil. Then you should take the holy bath. After taking bath, you should worship the Lords, who are adorable to you. It must be executed before lunch.

Choti Diwali Pujan

Arrange a four facing lamp along with 16 small lamps and keep them into a thali (big plate) with some oil and wicks (made by cotton). Then light all the lamps by putting these wicks inside it. Afterwards, worship your adorable Gods and Goddesses by offering them roli (red powder), kheer, flowers and jaggery. First of all, gents should offer the prayers at the work place and thereafter ladies should perform it at home. At the end, they should decorate the work place and homes with lamps in the evening.
