RUDRAKSA - THE GRANTER OF ALL WISHES
According to our scriptures like Shiva purana, Skand purana etc. the creator of Rudraksha is lord Shiva himself.
The word ‘ Rudraksha’ is made of two words ‘ Rudra ‘ and ‘ Aksha’ . The word Rudra means lord Rudra and the word Aksha means eyes or Ashru. In this way Rudraksha is associated with lord Shiva and his tears. There is a story in context to the origin of Rudraksha in Skanda Mahapurana. According to which,
Rudraksha is created from the tears falling from the eyes of lord Shiva himself. That is the reason Rudraksha is considered as the incarnation of Lord Shiva. If we talk about the structure of this pious fruit, there are straight lines on Rudraksha which are natural. The faces of Rudraksha are counted on the basis of these straight lines on Rudraksha. For example, if there are five vertical lines on Rudraksha that is called five faced Rudraksha.
HOW TO IDENTIFY PURITY OF RUDRAKSHA
It is very difficult to identify the originality of Rudraksha . Now days everything is commercialized and Rudraksha is not an exception. What people do they cut the lines of Rudraksha and join these two Rudrakshas in order to look them one. This is called one faced Rudraksha. As one faced rudraksha is very expensive. One faced Rudraksha, Gauri Shankar and Tridev rudraksha are prepared & sold in market to make money. This Rudraksha is rare & very costly also.
It is said, to judge the genuinity of rudraksha, Rudraksha should be dropped in water, if the rudraksha is genuine it will sink in the water. But you should be careful while doing this experiment. As lead is filled in artificial Rudraksha to make it heavy, that rudraksha settles down in the bottom of the vessel. In this way, a genuine Rudraksha should not float on the water.
To know the purity of Gauri Shankar Rudraksha keep it in boiled water for ten or fifteen minutes. If it is artificial, it shall separate due to the temperature of the water. There is one more way to know of its purity. Try to separate two Gauri Shankar Rudrakshas, if they are artificially joined, they shall separate. Scratch the Rudraksha with a needle or with some sharp edged thing. If the fibers are seen on the skin of Rudraksha in that case Rudraksha is genuine.
RESULTS ONE FEELS AFTER WEARING RUDRAKSHA
Generally Rudrakshas are found from one faced to fourteen faces. But it can have more than fourteen faces also. Rudraksha is a fruit grown on a tree which has natural lines on it, so more than fourteen faces Rudrakshas also exist. Generally, 21 faced Rudraksha also exists but they are very rare and hardly found that is the reason they are worth seen & collecting.
In this article, results from one face Rudraksha to fourteen faces Rudraksha have been mentioned which are like these:
ONE FACED RUDRAKSHA
This Rudraksha is considered Supreme Lord. One’s all evil effects are destroyed after wearing this Rudraksha. One faced Rudraksha, which is found in Nepal is the most rare one. One which is found in Indonesia is very small. In the present time, the prevalent one faced Rudraksha is like half Moon or Cashew Nut like shape which is devoid of hole. One can wear this Rudraksha only after covering its both sides with Silver sheet which has lock on its both the sides. The wearer of this Rudraksha must recite this mantra at the time when one wears this Rudraksha:
‘OM OM DRISHAM NAMAH’TWO FACED RUDRAKSHA
Two faced Rudraksha is known as incarnation of Lord Shiva & Shakti. One attains mental peace after wearing this and one’s conscious is awakened. Relations between family members become cordial. One gets success in job / profession. The wearer of this Rudraksha must recite this mantra at the time of wearing it:
‘OM OM NAMAH’THREE FACED RUDRAKSHA
This is considered as the form of three Gunas- SATTVA, RAJAS AND TAMAS, possessing the three Gunas threefold. This is assumed as powerful combination of desires, knowledge and activities. It has threefold qualities of Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh. One who wears this, mental horizon is widened. This enables the person to grant knowledge of past, present & future. It has the potential to destroy one’s wicked mental tendencies. One must chant this mantra at the time of wearing it:
‘OM OM NAMAH’FOUR FACED RUDRAKSHA
It is known as four face Brahmaji and four Vedas. It gives the four sides result of Dharma, Arth, Kam and moksha. One is cured of all mental diseases. One must chant this mantra at the time of wearing it:
‘OM RHIM NAMAH’FIVE FACED RUDRAKSHA
It is assumed as five faced lord Shiva. It is said to be the incarnation of five letters mantra- ‘OM NAMAH SHIVAYA’. One’s poverty is destroyed who wears this Rudraksha. It increases age and bestows health. One must recite this mantra at the time of wearing it:
‘OM HUM NAMAH’SIX FACED RUDRAKSHA
This is assumed as incarnation of six faced Kartikeya. One who wears it becomes conscious as it helps one to awake his / her consciousness. Memory power becomes strong and intelligence sharpens. One who relates to education field must wear six faced Rudraksha. One must chant this mantra at the time of wearing it:
‘OM HUM NAMAH’SEVEN FACED RUDRAKSHA
This Rudraksha wards off the negative influences caused by Saturn. This bestows one wealth, name, fame and victory. One has continuous flow of income and one’s profession enhances. The wearer of this Rudraksha must recite this mantra at the time of wearing it:
‘OM HUM NAMAH’EIGHT FACED RUDRAKSHA
It is assumed as the granter of Sidhi ( accomplishment of all work ) and victory. Eight faced Rudraksha is known as the incarnation of Vinayaka Dev. One who wears it gets food, wealth & gold. One gets the victory in court case. One must recite this mantra at the time of wearing:
'OM HUM NAMAH’NINE FACED RUDRAKSHA
This Rudraksha is considered as form of Nav Shakti ( nine forms of Maa Durga ) . In Shastras it is assumed as Narvan mantra (OM AAING HRIM KLIM CHAMUNDAYE VICHCHAI) . It saves one from unexpected accident. One must recite this mantra at the time when one wears it.
