You'll leave behind the uncertainty or confusion of Jupiter's recent passage through Aquarius, when you attempted to solve the problems or alter the horizons of your career, without really knowing what you wanted in their stead. Now, new contacts, friends, teachings, ideas, groups, or involvements will not just be the icing on the cake, they'll be the cake itself. You'll travel, study, expand horizons or enrich your life through exotic or interpersonal connections. Put yourself into a bigger picture and see where you fit. You'll have something to offer, there'll be something others have to give and all will benefit from the mutual exchange.
A spiritual, creative or compassionate cause may be at the heart of what you do. Luck will certainly be with you, as will opportunity, if you make the choices of the heart. Watch for testing times in dealings with authority, or with decision-making, in the last weeks of May, then get ready to delve into the inner world as the Lord of Fortune moves to Taurus and your solar twelfth house on June 6. The surge forward you've just been through will begin to turn back on itself, urging you to look to your inner resources in order to strike the gold of revelation (or inspiration) and, in time, open yet another way forward. You will seek new paths of devotion or learning, with Jupiter in Taurus until September 9. From there, Pisces is the flavour again and friends, groups or action in the community will be back in the frame for the balance of the year. Jupiter reverses in Taurus on July 23, returns to Pisces on September 9, then moves forward on November 18.

Venus the goddess begins in Capricorn and your solar ninth house on the heels of a union with Pluto, Lord of the Underworld. If you're looking for fulfilment through romance or finance, open up to the big wide world?or seek a far horizon. For the singles, you'll find the one you're looking for through adventure, or by mixing with people of different custom, culture or social scale. If you're not looking, then just have an adventure anyway. Those in a relationship will seek to expand your horizons through travel, study or widening of your circle of contacts or interests. A trip or a new qualification may be just the flourish you are looking for to restore that feeling of romance, or uplift your lifestyle. It's a year to be clear, determined and practical over the matter of past baggage. If you're carrying the burden of it needlessly, put it down and leave it by the roadside. Friends or social groups may bring unexpected or unlooked for romances this year. Be wise!
On October 8, Venus turns retrograde in the sign of Scorpio, your house of partnership. 2010 Taurus Home and Family
Sticky stuff or sticking points arise around matters of home and family as the year begins, all due to Warrior Mars reversing in the sign of Leo. If you feel that you are going backwards in these arenas, that could well be the case. The trick will be not to push too hard against it, but rather work around the obstacles, or even step back and let something be for a time. This is not a favourable time for renovation or DIY, unless it's brought about by necessity or emergency. Don't hit your thumb with the hammer, watch sharp edges and work around a feisty male temperament. A crucial player could be away from the home or tied up somehow, especially a male.
March 10 sees Mars moving forward, easing the pressure and establishing some flow or forward movement as blockages or delays are overcome. The mood will be more amenable, but watch out for a slight return when Mercury is in reverse in your sign after mid April. You'll find a better solution to family or domestic concerns once Saturn has run his final course in Virgo from April 6 to July 20. If you sort your lifestyle and love life, home will bring the sweetness of comfort and security the Bull just longs for. Remember that Mars will be in Leo and your solar fourth house until early June, so work to keep the peace and maintain safe practices with work.

As we have seen, Saturn sets his print on your house of work or health, especially from the start until April 6, and then from July 20 to the year's end. Be ready for a new line of duty or action in daily life and new connections with work. You may engage with professional, qualified or cultivated people, or you may find that an augmentation of tasks or a complete change of direction, takes you into contact with the public. One of the tests with this transit is the meeting of a double demand. Saturn in your solar sixth house will up the ante with work or necessary effort and, for some, you'll start a business or a new kind of occupation altogether. However, in balance with this, the demands of a healthy life, including exercise and diet, will also have to be met. It may seem as though involvement at one level will take away from the other, but the true skill will be to manage the scales so you get the best of your efforts in both worlds. You'll be opening a new line of development without actually knowing the outcome and, in doing so, you'll uncover conditions, abilities or interests that you did not know were there. In time, the presence and revelation of these will alter the direction of life, especially in 2011. The power of this period for change is emphasised from May 27 to August 14 when revolutionary Uranus also makes a brief home in Taurus, one that will become his long term abode in the years ahead. Something will emerge from your inner world and interests, but it will bring an unknown quantity and an unpredictable outcome. 2010 Taurus Career and Finances
Career aspirations will take shape in two different areas of endeavour. With Saturn in Libra, it'll be the hard work, the development of a personal style or health regimen and the undertaking of new tasks or activities that will get you on track. Look to streamlining what you do or changing it altogether. New associations or associates will add flavour or ideas. While there'll be a gap as the Lord of Fortune slips into Taurus from June 6, the theme is nonetheless a strong one in your sense of advancement or expansion this year. Jupiter is back in Pisces on September 9, but, throughout the year, friends, connections, good social relations and a sense of where you fit into the community... all of these will set the scene for improvement or advance with career aspirations.
