Passion and self discipline
Passion is the result of intense desire to acquire or own any visible material in the universe - The question is what is the source of passion? We treat passion as the genesis of everything, as some fickle flame that appears out of nowhere and then flares out mysteriously. Where does it come from, and why do certain subjects make us passionate?
It’s a feeling which intensifies to the level of obsession if not controlled. I would want you to ask yourself a question, are you passionate or an obsessive about your loved ones?
Puzzling isn’t it – It certainly is you would do anything to protect your loved one even if it’s your life, you would not compromise. This is what obsession is and if your desire to possess moves to this extent you become obsessed and you have moved beyond passion.
Therefore passion is desire to acquire something as per your liking without loosing your sense of judgment.
It’s an emotional form which has it’s high and low.
Have you thought of the reasons for high and low intensity of such emotional form? What will get you to achieve your high on this aspect of emotion? What should you do to ensure that highly passionate about the work that will help you succeed in your personal or professional life?
Passion brings in fire to achieve and stay committed. Self discipline on the other hand helps you to stay away from procrastination and keeps your focus intact.
Have you ever wondered that though you remain committed to a task there is no sign of success. You ensure that you do not procrastinate and become stickler for discipline, yet you find no respite from failures? What should you be doing to ensure that you get result?
How do we get to the point
where we possess the mental capacity to process everything to the fullest extent? How do we get the fire ignited within to ensure that we capture the power of imagination? How do we ensure that we never give up? All of us know that we humans have immense potential to get what we want to from life. We know we have the strength to capture our imagination? The only question which you need an answer to is how?
We all have promised ourselves sometime or the other that we will not settle for the ordinary and we all have wished for the best life for ourselves. We all have at some point or the other have acknowledged the fact that we will grow mentally, physically and spiritually but, why is that there have hindrances in our path? Have your ever thought why is that we cannot keep up our promises that we had made to ourselves.
