The Art of Positive Living - ALTER YOUR FATE WITH YOUR WORDS/ GESTURES POSITIVELY
Our life is a continum of actions, reactions, karma, and their manifestations as events in our life!
Many of us don't understand how even "seemingly simple" and "relatively insignificant" activities of us can impact our Destiny. Just as a small seed has within it the potential to sprout out a majestic tree later, even our simplest deeds, or speech might have within them the potential to sprout out events of greater magnitude than we anticipate at the time of our speech/ actions.
Magic of the subconscious mind and Reasonance with the Universal mind tend to get activated by many things that we do - consciously or unconsciously. That is why those who understand the power of words and deeds never do anything in vain, and are careful about their every step. Even jokes, humorous advertisements must have a positive message encoded in them, as even they can have their consequences....One instance of a famous cricketer's career hitting a trough after an advertisement comes to my memory significantly in this regard......
A few years back, there was an advertisement from a famous soft-drinks company which featured prominent cricketers. This Icon of Cricket was shown as saying "No" to the bat, and eagerly grabbing this soft-drink bottle, letting the other dummy bearing his resemblance to go and bat instead! Little would he have realized that a string of no-good performances might come in its wake..but so did it happen! The subtle message conveyed to the Universal Mind with that advert was "I am more interested in this softdrink than in my play" - though of course, the Icon did not realize it at that time. So, the Universal Mind did react by letting him sit in the stands often with the softdrinks for his company, while his beloved bat often seemed to betray him (he had a string of below-par performances which was in direct contrast to his generally consistent brilliance). It took quite a while for him to come out of that jinx!
So, be careful even of your casual gestures. Don't play or make fun of matters that involve your livelihood or profession. Even if you feel like joking regarding those, always end that with positive tones - like "There is only one thing that I love as much as my cricket bat - and that is (this softdrink bottle!)" - could have ensured that the negative luck involved in "refusing to take the bat" during that advert (even in jest) was not activated.
Similarly, when we are stuck up in a job and are not satisfied with our bosses' attitude, the best way to crib will be "I only wish that my bosses will take a more favorable view of my performances; How I wish they realize how much I am slogging here with all my heart!"...instead, most of us choose to portray and project negativity by saying things like "My Boss is a fraud; He keeps flashing tooth-paste smiles to cameras and reading my script while I slog in the background; it my Fate that I have to be like this; sometimes I feel it is a blessing to get fired from that job!".
