Waiting for the Right Moment

The Cancer Sun dims in your 12th house of solitude and endings, making this the ‘darkest hour' before your next birthday. This is a time to finish old business and wait for the right moment to start something new, which will surely happen near the time of your Solar Return! For now, try to take it easy and recharge your physical and spiritual batteries.

The Capricorn Full Moon on July 3rd may find you under the weather if you allow too much stress into your life. Say no to drama and toxic people while you take the time to review and reflect upon the past year. The Cancer New Moon of on July 19th allows you to bring closure to a situation that needs it. This can be a very healing time, even though it might not be easy.

Once the Sun enters sunny Leo and your 1st house of appearance and personality, it will be time for you to shine! Center stage is yours, and the world is a better place for it.

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury moves forward in Leo and your 1st house of appearance and personality before slowing down and turning retrograde there on July 15th. With the Sun in Cancer, this is a period for reflection and review anyway, which reinforces your need to turn inward for a while. It may be that you have a harder time than usual in expressing yourself, or that others misunderstand what you are trying to convey.

Oddly enough, you may find that it is easier for you to understand what goes unsaid as you are more tuned in to body language and voice. Mercury will remain retrograde until August 8th, and once it turns direct, you'll have no problem getting your point across.

Good Friends

Venus spends the month in your 11th house of associates, making your friends good friends indeed. Jupiter's presence here indicates that you'll be expanding your social circle, and many you meet will benefit you in some way. Some friendships may have ended last month while Venus was retrograde, but chances are good you had outgrown those relationships long ago.

At the end of the month, when Venus harmonizes well with Saturn in your 3rd house of communication, you'll have a chance to have an important conversation that you've wanted to have but were perhaps not quite ready for. The results should be positive!

Gearing Up...

Mars enters Libra and your 3rd house of communication on July 3rd, giving you the chance to consider the most diplomatic approaches to business and personal matters you must handle soon. Of course, Saturn's presence here for the past two years has taught you a lot about boundaries and the need for structure in your communications as well as your relationships with siblings and neighbors, and now it is time to see how must more masterful you can be now. However, with the Sun in your 12th house and Mercury retrograde most of the month, this may be a period of gearing up for the activity to come early in August. Rest assured that you will have your chance to make your voice heard and set things back on the right course.
